Short Professional Biography

Lori Gould joined CNYRC in 2006 and served as the Chief Financial Officer until she was appointed to Executive Director in September of 2010.

Ms. Gould has a well-balanced and diverse professional career that spans over 30 years of experience working in both not-for-profit and for-profit organizations. Her strengths are in the areas of financial management and human resources. However, she is also responsible for the oversight of Contracts and Grants administration, ensuring adherence to applicable federal, state, or local legislation, as well as supporting the needs of her Board and staff.

Over the years, she has developed and implemented strategic plans that improved operational efficiency and aligned the corporate vision and mission, policies and practices with organizational objectives and corporate culture. She is very dedicated to the mission of serving Veterans and for the research that affects their care and as well as the care of many others through the advancement of medical research.

Short Professional Biography

Sladjana “Jana” is the newest member of our administrative team. She handles the daily tasks required by the Executive Director, along with other needs of the Research department, the Human Resource Department, and the VA Police Department. Her job allows her to wear many hats throughout a given day and she enjoys the fast-paced work environment that brings.


Clinical Research Coordinators Team

Our Clinical Research Coordinators (CRC’s) serve as the point of contact for all information relating to clinical trials, and as a liaison between Syracuse VA Medical Center Principal Investigator and Study Sponsors. Our coordinators share in the passion of our research and the potential it can yield by improving the lives of our Veterans and Americans. They work to assure compliance of general and study specific regulatory related processes with internal Veteran Affairs Medical Center Standard Operating Procedures as well as external regulatory agencies such as the FDA. They coordinate and participate in a variety of complex activities involved in the collection, compilation, documentation and analysis of clinical research data.

Autum Bellinger, CCRP is a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Central New York Research Corporation, and has been SoCRA certified since November 2012. She serves as point of contact for all information relating to clinical trials, and as a liaison between Syracuse VA Medical Center Principal Investigators and Study Sponsors. Autum brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from her eleven years in research administration and clinical trial regulatory support.

Susanne Fili is a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Central New York Research Corporation. She serves as point of contact for all information relating to clinical trials, and as a liaison between Syracuse VA Medical Center Principal Investigators and Study Sponsors. Susanne brings a strong knowledge of research regulations and has experience in diverse areas of clinical research management, nutrition management, and health systems administration as well as research administration and clinical trial regulatory support. Susanne also possesses extensive knowledge of FDA’s code of federal regulations and guidelines, ICH guidelines, as well as EMA and JAPA guidelines.
